Hello there! This is the final design concept of the project Up & Down. We hope, we managed that it ended up like you wished. We named our design as FAMIPACK, which came from ”family-pack” like ”care-pack”.

FamiPack includes a packaging which is designed for parents who send the ingredients for their home recipes to their children who live away from home and an application which is designed to create bonds between those parents and their children by sharing food and recipes. Moreover, FamiPack offers students to prepare a cookbook to send their parents as a gift to say ”thank you for caring me”.

This is the final design concept of the project Femme-hood, resulting in a jewelry collection, named Işil Jewels (işil means bright).

The collection is made up of smart jewels that have a Bluetooth technology that links them to an app that allows women to book activities to do together and that lights up the jewel when they are in the chosen place.

In this PDF you can find all the instructions to build the jewels and to make the app.

There are also some hints for the advertising.

We made our best and we hope that you like our work!

Yesterday morning we had a meeting with our professor, Alfredo Apicella, to discuss about some details of the project and then we worked on the Ikea Style instructions that we have to give to Ninja Turtles.

We will meet on Sunday to finalize all the details.

Yesterday we met again with team 17.

As planned, we provided them with more in-depth variations of our concepts.

Our idea of happiness for women-targets that they thought up, concerns the creation of bracelets, necklaces or rings reminiscent of amulets or with
precious stones with various meanings that recall important values.

Another idea we gave them is to make these resin jewels with dried flowers with various meanings inside, which connect to the app and light up
and light up in the way described above.

The girls in team 17 really liked our ideas, especially the first two.
However, they preferred to get together again and told us that they would then tell us their final choice of concepts.

This morning we met again to discuss the project.
The girls from team 17 really liked the ideas we presented to them at the last meeting regarding the 3 concepts, especially the one concerning the jewellery line.

This could be necklaces, bracelets or rings, with a pendant recalling the shapes of characteristic amulets, such as the Turkish eye, or having precious stones that convey special meanings for women.

After having hit on the idea, we discussed how to make it concrete.

We thought about the packaging of the product, the materials to make it and the colours we would like to use, always paying attention to the messages we want to convey. We thought about the name of the jewellery line and the logo to represent it.

Finally, because our customers had asked us for a product that was also technological, we thought about making this line of jewellery smart and linking it to an app that would collect women in various activities to do together. So we focused on how to create this analogue-digital connection and the layout of our app.

Yesterday November 8 we met on zoom with team 17 that presented us three ideas:
in the first idea they presented a box “Nonna box” that contains ingredients of typical dishes and links to videos made by the family in which they explain the recipe so you can cook seeing your family.
In the second idea they proposed containers that have various levels and that allow them to store ingredients longer since students cook little and often leftover ingredients turn into garbage.
In the third idea they proposed containers that contain oil and prevent it from leaking out.

After their presentation we gave our feedback and asked lots of questions to explore the topics further, we were happy with their ideas and out of the three we preferred the first one.

Yesterday night we met team 17 and showed them our three ideas for their brief.

We discussed about them and they were enthusiastic about them, in particular of the first idea.

They gave us some directions about the other ideas and now we’re waiting to know the idea we have to develop. 🙂

This evening we met Team 17 to show and discuss with them of our three ideas of design.

We were truly satisfied and delighted with the results of our reunion because they really enojyed our proposals 🙂 .

Now we’ll wait for the design ideas of Team 17, that weren’t ready because they worked again on the brief, no doubt that we’re gonna like them!

This morning we met to gather new ideas for the new brief.

We analyzed many different concepts and read a lot about Turkish traditions and symbols.

After two hours, we came up with three design ideas that we will discuss tonight with team 17.

We hope we did a good job! 🙂

We received feedback about our brief from our instructor that the brief was unclear and hard to understand. Therefore, we make adjustments to our sentence structures.

Earlier this week, we did some brainstorming for the design ideas to give to the other group. We made a map on Mirò and added also some details and images to make clear the vision of the project.

Now the design brief has changed, we received it yesterday night, so we will meet another time today or tomorrow to find different solutions for the new brief.

Here is our meeting with Team 17. We were really pleased and satisfied with this meeting. We discussed our brief, because their wasn’t ready.

Hi my name si Aniello Di Donna, I’m 28 years old.

i live in Pompeii near Naples. Pompei is a city famous above all for its excavations, which attract about 3 million tourists every year. Has a fantastic square where the sanctuary is located. We often meet there for aperitifs. Pompeii is close to the Sorrento coast, for this reason, when there are beautiful days, I love to go by scooter to visit beautiful places.

Being in love with the city of naples, i decided to attend the university there. i studied piscology at the suor orsola benincasa univeristy. Happy with the experience offered I decided to continue with the Master’s degree in cognitive ergonomics at the same university.

I have so many passions, to list them all would be boring, but those to which I devote more time are preparing healthy dishes, because I love going to the gym. i love painting, fans of TV series and movies in general, the sport should never be missing.

Hello, my name is Erika, I am an Italian girl, I live in Naples and I attend the university suor orsola benincasa. I recently graduated in cognitive psychology and now I’ve started the master in cognitive ergonomics.

During my days I study and do different jobs, such as private lessons and waitressing in a bar.
I live with my sister in the Vomero part of naples and I have a 4-legged animal with me, Tommaso! He is part of my family and I love him very much. I love spending time with my dog and I especially love spending time in outdoor places, like parks, beaches or rivers.

In addition, I like to be able to observe the scenery during a motorbike ride; the one who takes me there is my boyfriend, called Mario. I’ve been with him for 7 months but now he’s had to go to Germany for three years. He is a mechanical engineer and has left for a PHD.

I don’t know what I will do in the future yet, but I know that I would like to travel outside Italy and go on Erasmus and continue my studies.

I live in Naples, a wonderful city full of history and culture. I love the warmth of the people, the sea and the food in my city. In fact, I like to take long walks on the beach and go out to eat.

I study Psychology at Suor Orsola Benincasa and I work in a day centre for minors, which I got to know thanks to the internship I did during my studies.

I love music: I like singing and dancing, but I also love writing and reading novels. I collect snowballs, which I buy on my travels, and I love peach blossoms; in fact, I have a tattoo of them.

Hello everyone! My name is Martina and I am 23 years old.

I have a bachelor’s degree in cognitive psychology techniques, and now I’m attending the first year of my master’s degree in cognitive ergonomics at Suor Orsola Benincasa University. Before and during my studies in psychology I was fascineted by the complexity of cognitive processes, and I’d really like for my future to focus on the connection between technology and psychological processes. What i most hope for my future is to always be able to challenge myself in developping new skills and competencies.

I live Naples and what I like the most about my city is the beauty of its landscapes, infact one of my hobbies is photography. I really like to take pictures of sunsets and seascapes, it makes me happy and calm.

One of my passions is also art, in all its forms, i really love drawing and painting, and sometimes i like to play guitar. But what i like the most is fashion design and learn about fashion trends of differents countries and seasons.

I really like animals, especially dogs, infact i have one whose name is Nike, and I love to spend my free time going for a walk with my puppy.

Today we met our professors to discuss about our brief ideas.

Later the group met to work on the brief features, in order to be prepared for the meeting with Team 17 tonight.

I’m Maria Cecilia Bruzzone, I’m 29 years old and I live in Formia, a small town in the south of Lazio.

I’ve studied African and Oriental Cultures and Languages, learning Japanese, at L’Orientale University in Naples, but then I quit my studies and I started working, the most exciting field I worked in was a in a wind-energy company in Naples, where I understood the importance of our path on the environement we live in.

Later I decided to go back to university to study in Naples, at Suor Orsola Benincasa University, where I’ve just graduated in Cognitive Psychology. Coming back to university after a few years was challenging, but it made me discover what is my place in this world: understanding the mind. I’ve also been student’s representative for one year and this thaught me a lot about how University works, leadership and mediation.

Now I’m attending the master degree in Cognitive Ergonomics in the same University, because I want to explore more about this particular field of Psychology.

I’ve loved my thesis work on driver distraction, because it opened my mind to new scenarios for my future job.

I have been married for five years, we don’t have any children yet, but we have a dog, Pablo, a 7 years old Labrador Retriever that is like a child.

One of my hobbies is gardening, even if I’m not very good at it (most of my plants die) and I love baking, in fact I did a pastry course to understand the basis of bakery. I have four tattoos that I love because they remind me of many important things of my life.
