Using the data provided for our persona’s facial features:
- Temple Width (from one temple to the other): 13.5 cm
- Nose Bridge Width: 2.7 cm
- Distance Between Pupils (PD): 6.3 cm
- Ear-to-Ear Distance Across the Back of the Head: 13.4 cm
- Face Height and Width: 20 cm/15.4 cm
We designed our glasses to fit perfectly and meet their specific needs.
- Illumination for Reading:
- The glasses are equipped with light features on the frame sides, making reading easier in low-light conditions.
- Sound Feature for Easy Location:
- The glasses have a built-in sound feature, activated by pressing a button on the stand. This helps locate the glasses if they are misplaced. The sound mechanism is cleverly hidden within the arms of the glasses.
- Adjustable Nose Pads for Optimal Fit:
- The nose pads ensure the glasses sit comfortably and securely on the nose, providing precise positioning.
- Magnetic Charging:
- The glasses charge via magnetic connection when placed on their custom stand. The charging points are located on the sides of the frame near the nose pads, allowing quick and efficient recharging.
Design of the Stand:
Inspired by the Chinese word “xin” (heart), we designed the stand in a heart-like shape and chose red as the primary color.
- Mood Light:
- The stand features a mood light on the side, which can also function as a desk lamp.
- Functional Buttons:
- A button on the right activates the sound feature to locate the glasses.
- A button on the left turns the mood light on and off.
- Battery Indicator:
- A charging indicator is located on the front surface of the stand, designed to mimic the overall aesthetic of the stand.
We aimed to make the product as tailored as possible to the needs of our persona, including careful selection of colors to align with their preferences.
