Hello!Guys! We’re here to discuss a solution to your quest to prevent Alzheimer’s disease, but it’s not a product, it’s a game. Alzheimer’s disease is mainly manifested in memory loss, so in order to prevent this from happening, we think that letting the elderly tell stories is a good solution. In Chinese composition, there are five elements: people, things, time, place and things. These five elements form the framework of the story. We’re going to play in a way where the family tells the story and they retell it two days later. These stories can be real things that happened to them or they can be made up, like fables.

Then we will prepare five cards of different shapes and colors, no more than three of each, which can be reused. The family members will write the five elements of the story on them, and the old man will tell a complete story according to the tips on the cards. Judge the memory of the elderly by the completeness and details of the stories in their mouths. This method not only exercises the memory of the elderly, but also can determine the extent of their Alzheimer’s disease in the first place, and lead to more scientific treatment.

Hello team!
I love the idea of developing a game with cards! I’d like to propose taking this concept a step further. My suggestion is that, when designing the game, you consider how people of older age, especially those who may have certain physical or sensory challenges, could also enjoy it fully.
It could be interesting to expand the project beyond traditional graphic design for the cards. For instance, you might incorporate different materials, like fabrics or textures, to stimulate the sense of touch so that the game doesn’t rely solely on vision. You could even consider adding sound elements or music to engage the sense of hearing. This way, it becomes a multi-sensory, accessible, and inclusive game, adapted to the physical limitations that many elderly people may face.
I believe this approach would make your product even more special and meaningful. Go ahead and explore these ideas. I’m sure you can create something amazing!
Keep up the great work, and best of luck!
In China, there is a game called “conjunctions into sentences”, I made some transformations of it, we consider your suggestions and improve, thank you for your comments!
