JiaLe Lv’s design

[1]We designed a board game similar to billiards, the shape of the board is a rectangle, the square has a hole in each corner, and there is a diamond in the center of the board, which is used to place the pieces. There are 10 pieces in total, 4 white, 4 black, 1 red, and 1 green. Black and white are printed with numbers 1-4, and the chess pieces are placed on the board at the beginning, as shown in the figure. The player then chooses black or white by flipping a coin or other means. First hit your black or white chess in the order of chess numbers 1 to 4, and after all four pieces are hit in the hole,Hit the red again. The green is the mother and the other pieces are the sons. If player 1 chooses white, he gains the right to hit green with his middle finger, so that the green chess hits the pieces in the diamond area, and the pieces in the diamond area are scattered. If White 1 falls into the hole, player 1 continues to gain the move and continues to flick Green with his index finger, causing Green to continue to crash into White 2 and White 2 to fall into the hole. If White 1 does not fall into the hole, then the game goes to player 2, who begins to hit Green with a flick, causing Green to crash into Black 1, causing Black 1 to fall into the hole. The operation continues until both sides have not fully sunk their numbers 1 to 4. In the end, one of the two sides plays their side's number 1 to 4 first, then plays the last red, which side hits the red into the hole, which side wins. [2]It is a very difficult thing to learn computer programming, which requires very strong logic ability. We imagine a building block with computer language identification and a small light inside the building block to program by building the building block. If the small light inside the building block is on, it indicates that the program is correct and can run normally. The building blocks need to be retuned to make the program correct.

【1】A new type of card game designed based on traditional card games, it has a low learning cost, is easy to pick up, and has good entertainment value. At the same time, this card game has a fast pace, which can prevent gambling behavior. It is not limited to the number of people and can also promote communication and familiarity among the elderly. Here's how it works: Taking a deck of poker cards as an example, players first draw two cards, add the numbers, if the sum is greater than 21, it is judged as a loss and wait for the next round. If it is exactly 21, it wins directly and everyone enters the next round. If it is less than 21, the following options can be made: 1. Feeling the number is too small, continue to draw cards, 2. Feeling the number is too large but not 21, stop drawing cards, and place the cards face down on the table, waiting for others to also place their cards face down on the table. 3. After drawing cards, the sum reaches 21, show directly and win this round, and the game enters the next round. 4. Wait until everyone feels the number is appropriate and no one draws exactly 21, show the cards on the table to other players and announce the number. 5. Compare the size, the person with the largest number wins this round. If two people have the same largest number, compare the smallest or largest number in the hand cards to see who is larger, and the one with the largest number wins. Please note, to prevent problems such as cheating during the game for the elderly, caregivers or products can distribute the cards to each player, playing the role of the "dealer" in traditional card games. 【2】A small product similar in size to mahjong, with a tiny screen on top to display image information. Unlike mahjong, it has magnetic sides and metal contacts, which means that the product in the user's hand can exchange information by joining together. Users can join their product with the same product of others to get a preliminary understanding of the other person's basic information and precautions. Considering that the elderly may have a lower acceptance of new things and may not use electronic products much, we propose this simple and efficient form of information exchange. [3]For the old people who like to talk about history, we can give them a game like "war chess", for example, for the history they are familiar with, there will be different dynasties and different emperors, we can make the role of these emperors through the processing, for example, what the German Emperor would do in the Ottoman Empire era, In this way, they can deduce the trend through their understanding of historical figures, and promote the communication between the elderly and their thinking about history.

g the elderly tell stories is a good solution. In Chinese composition, there are five elements: people, things, time, place and things. These five elements form the framework of the story. We're going to play in a way where the family tells the story and they retell it two days later. These stories can be real things that happened to them or they can be made up, like fables. Then we will prepare five cards of different shapes and colors, no more than three of each, which can be reused. The family members will write the five elements of the story on them, and the old man will tell a complete story according to the tips on the cards. Judge the memory of the elderly by the completeness and details of the stories in their mouths. This method not only exercises the memory of the elderly, but also can determine the extent of their Alzheimer's disease in the first place, and lead to more scientific treatment [2]Prevention in the form of learning a foreign language. But older people are not required to learn a foreign language to the point where they can carry on everyday conversations. All languages are difficult to learn, which will reduce the enthusiasm of older people for learning. It can take a single word, such as computer, and translate it into several languages, such as Italian, French, German, etc., and ask the elderly to classify the same word but different languages. The benefit of this is that we strengthen their cognitive abilities. [3]Exercise the color cognition of the elderly. One of the early symptoms of Alzheimer's disease is color cognitive impairment. For example, you ask him for a ripe tomato, but he brings you a cyan one. We can print a color card with the same color but the color difference and give it to them to identify. This helps exercise their color sensitivity, thereby preventing and detecting Alzheimer's disease at an early stage.

INDEX 1. INTRODUCTION 2 2. CONTEXT: 3 3. TARGET AUDIENCE: 4 4. MOODBOARD: 7 5. PRODUCTS INSPIRATION 8 6. CONCLUSION 10 INTRODUCTION Develop an innovative project that promotes active socialization among elderly individuals in day care centers, aiming to reduce the risk of dementia and improve their cognitive and emotional well-being. The following is an illustration (annex I) that visually highlights the central concept we wish to convey. This image provides a precise representation of the key elements previously mentioned, carefully designed to ensure clarity and coherence. By presenting these elements visually, we aim to facilitate understanding of the main ideas and their relationships, helping to reinforce the core message we want to communicate. Annex 1: Representation of the key elements of the project With this illustration, we aim to highlight the importance of conducting a thorough and detailed analysis of the users targeted by the project. It is essential to understand their tastes, preferences, and lifestyles, as well as to identify the places where they live and how they interact socially, regardless of their age or generation. By delving into these aspects, we can better capture their needs, aspirations, and perspectives. Only with this level of understanding can we create a product that genuinely meets the specific expectations and requirements of its audience, providing a relevant and meaningful experience for each user. 2. CONTEXT: Over time, it has become increasingly common for elderly people to attend day centers or move into nursing homes. These facilities offer specialized care, covering basic needs such as food, hygiene, and medical assistance, which is essential for those who require constant support. Nursing homes and day centers go beyond fulfilling basic physical needs; they focus on creating a supportive and engaging environment that fosters the overall well-being of residents. Through organized social and recreational activities, these facilities aim to enhance residents' quality of life by promoting emotional health and offering opportunities for meaningful interaction. By facilitating social engagement, elderly individuals are able to build and maintain connections, participate in group activities, and feel part of a larger community. This integration into a socially vibrant environment not only reduces feelings of isolation but also promotes a sense of purpose, companionship, and fulfillment, ensuring that the residents’ later years are spent in a space that values both their physical and emotional needs. Annex 2: Illustrations of nurse homes 3. TARGET AUDIENCE:  Retired individuals frequently attend day care centers designed specifically to meet their needs. Therefore, the target users of this project should be elderly people who utilize these facilities. It is essential to recognize that these users may be experiencing a range of physical and cognitive conditions, which can vary widely among individuals. Consequently, our approach must take into account these diverse health considerations to ensure that the services and support we provide are tailored to enhance their well-being and quality of life. Understanding these factors will allow us to create a more effective and inclusive environment that addresses the specific requirements of this population. Annex…

Design Overview

Design background With the development of urbanization, more and more young people choose to live in cities, while more and more elderly people are left to live alone in rural areas. Their elderly and weak bodies always cause various inconveniences in their daily lives, such as difficulty walking due to weak legs when traveling, forgetting to take medication in their daily lives, or adding too much seasoning when cooking. 1. Daily diet On the physical side, the first point is that the teeth of the elderly are not firm, and they prefer to eat soft food, such as Mantou and noodles. Secondly, most elderly people prefer hot food because raw or cold food can burden their stomach. At the same time, in order to avoid problems such as high blood sugar, blood pressure, and blood lipids, many elderly people cannot excessively consume high-fat, high salt, and high sugar foods, so they will choose a light diet. In terms of culture, the first point is that elderly people in China pay attention to health preservation. In their leisure time, they will brew a cup of health tea, which is usually made from one or more herbs through simple processing such as drying or baking. Drinking these teas is beneficial for them to maintain their physical health, such as cardiovascular, stomach, liver, etc. In addition, he has the habit of drinking hot Congee when eating, because the Chinese believe that drinking hot Congee has the effect of nourishing the stomach. 2. Daily necessities In rural areas, many elderly people between the ages of 60 and 70 are still farming. This is because Chinese farmers have a special emotional attachment to the land since ancient times. They will wake up at six in the morning to do farm work in the fields, so the vast majority of rural elderly people cannot do without household items such as agricultural tools (rakes, shovels, hoes, sickles, buckets, etc.). In addition, they also cannot do without reading glasses, crutches, wheelchairs, and so on. 3. Daily activities The living habits of elderly people in China vary depending on the region and individual situation, but overall they can be summarized as follows: 1. Self sufficiency: Many elderly people in rural areas still maintain their traditional farming lifestyle, growing food crops, vegetables, and fruits on their own land, as well as raising poultry and livestock. 2. Community interaction: Elderly people in rural areas usually have close relationships with their neighbors, and they enjoy chatting, playing cards, or participating in collective activities in the village during their leisure time. The same applies to elderly people in urban areas, who also prefer to travel outside. The activities mentioned above not only enrich their spiritual life, but also help alleviate feelings of loneliness. The issues we have identified China has a rich diet culture and a large number of cuisines since ancient times, which means that Chinese people will store a variety of spices in their kitchens, but the environment for storing spices…
