We did some brainstorming again and come up with two new ideas.

We did some brainstorming according to our researches this week.

• Got critiques from our instructors about our brief topics
• Organised our miro boards
• Did some brainstorming about our brief topics
• Decided on our brief topic
• Started to write our brief
• Designed a template for our brief
• Posted our brief on other team’s blog
• The other team posted their brief on our blog
• Took a look at their brief and prepared our comments

The other group posted their brief on our blog, we read the brief and prepared our comments, but we did not posted yet. We are willing to meet them on Discord to talk about our briefs.

Here’s what we have done in first week:

• Created a whatsapp group for our team to communicate easily
• Registered on our blogs
• Created our banner
• Wrote our “This is me!” posts
• Created a whatsapp group with the other team
• Conducted a Discord meeting with the other team
• Did some brainstorming on our brief

Hello, my name is Melis Ercan. I am Turkish and I am a junior Industrial Design student at Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. I live in Ankara with my family. I am 22 years old.

I like to draw in my free time, I prefer sketching or acyrilic painting. Drawing makes me feel free and creative. I am not good at expressing my feelings by words, and this is why I love drawing so much. Also, I play quiddicth at METU’s team, ODTÜ Hippogriffs. I like quidditch but I love my teammates more, that’s way I keep playing.

Actually I am not sure what I want to be. I love my department and I am considering becoming a product designer. However, I am curious about graphic design too. I love working on Adobe Photoshop, but I know that graphic design is not all about Photoshop. I hope I will decide soon 😀
