We invite you to meet the Bassi.
Our project aims at solving the presented problem by inviting the tourists to dive deep into the Napolean culture. By working with visual solutions we allow the elderly to comunicate without worring about the language barrier. We want them to be main charcaters in the narrative, also respecting their privacy.
Our clients presented some tradicional places in the Bassi that are often overlooked by the tourists, and we developed a booklet to guide them trough these places. When the tourists complete the “tour” they will have a beautiful souvenir of their trip to Napoli.
Let’s break it down:
At the begining of each Bassi there wil be an introduction poster and QR code. There, you will find some key words to comunicate with the locals and your booklet, a gift from the city to the visitors.
The booklet will have 4 locations, and in order to complete the image you shall visit them all. At each place there will be a different color stamp. When put together, the final image will appear.
Alongside, when walking inside the Bassi you will find stickers in some of the houses. Those mean that the person living there is comfortable with you visiting and questioning. Each house will also have an exclusive stamp. And only the elderly can give it to you. So remember to be nice.
