Personal Profile – Cristina Cantós

My name is Cristina Cantós, I am a student of Industrial Design and Product Development Engineering at Tecnun-Unav, a university located in the city of San Sebastian, Spain. However, my family home is on the island of Mallorca, located in the Mediterranean Sea. For me, Mallorca is an idyllic place, especially in the low tourist season, as the climate is unbeatable and the diversity of the landscape allows you to discover new spots all the time. In 2025 I will graduate, and my goal is to find a company to work for. I don't care if it's in Spain or elsewhere, as I've always wanted to go and live abroad. I like to be creative, to innovate, and to make my projects in order to provide an effective solution to society's problems. Apart from this, one of the fields of work I am interested in is User Interface (in any sector). Going more into personal matters, the sport I like the most is golf, I love ballet and listening to music all the time, I prefer to stay at home cooking or with a good book rather than partying all night long. And I would like to start a ceramics course and keep progressing in learning more languages. At the moment I'm fluent in Spanish, Catalan, English, and I've started to learn French. I'm very exited with this Global Design Studio, Scarlete and I are willing to get down to work, to think and develop a solution for a country like Turkey, as changes in culture inspire us to think differently and make a lot of personal progress. At the moment I am involved in the innovation club. I think it's important to show this, because I love to spend time around curious people, testing hypotheses, developing crazy ideas, new fields of work… And as part of the club's board, that's our goal for all members this year. I'm not a mobile addict but I can be contacted via WhatsApp: +34 639508870, Linkedin: Cristina Cantós Basany, Gmail: cristina.cantos.b@gmail.com and soon Behance; Instagram (cristinacantos_) sometimes, as it's a platform I only use during holidays.
