Background of the story:

In the historic and artistic city of Naples in southern Italy, an adventure about lost treasures from the Renaissance is unfolding. Players will play two types of characters, one is an informed local tour guide, and the other is a brave explorer. They must work together to uncover the secrets in ancient manuscripts, search for clues hidden throughout Naples, and ultimately reveal the location of the treasure.

Role setting:

1. Tour guide (information collector): Having a wide network of contacts and a deep understanding of Naples’ history and culture, able to obtain key information from various channels, with information acquisition and transmission mainly achieved through wearing headphones.
2. Explorer (Task Executor): Skilled in solving difficult problems and physical challenges, responsible for on-site investigations and task execution.

These two types each have two to three roles to choose from.

Main gameplay:

1. Collaborative puzzle solving: Before each level begins, the tour guide will provide possible clues and directions to the explorer based on the information at hand. Explorers need to use these clues to find the next clue or item in the actual scene. (Puzzle games can be designed as maze explorations or map treasure hunts)
2. Character interaction: Players can switch between controlled characters at any time to more effectively utilize their abilities. For example, when encountering a situation where you need to communicate with NPCs to obtain information, please switch to a tour guide; When encountering physical obstacles or puzzles, switch to Explorer. Older people can not only play the role of tour guides, obtaining and transmitting information while playing games, but also exchange roles with young people and experience the role of explorers under their guidance
3. Cultural Experience: The game incorporates many authentic Neapolitan elements, including but not limited to visiting the San Carlo Theatre, tasting authentic Margarita pizza, listening to street performers’ performances, and more. By completing specific tasks, players can receive corresponding cultural rewards, such as unlocking new music tracks, obtaining unique recipes, etc.
4. Dynamic difficulty adjustment: Automatically adjust the game difficulty based on the player’s performance, ensuring that the game is both challenging and not frustrating.
5. Multi ending system: Players’ choices can affect the development of the story, and different decisions may lead to different endings. This encourages players to explore all possibilities multiple times.

1. Civilian Voting Square: The Civilian Voting Square on the north side of Egg Castle is the main square in the old town of Naples, named after the 1860 referendum (which decided to join the unified Kingdom of Italy under the rule of the Savoy dynasty). On the west side of the square is the Basilica di San Francesco di Paola with columns, designed in the style of the Roman Pantheon. It is a popular filming location for many local TV dramas and movies, as well as a must visit spot for photo shoots.

6. San Gennaromon: San Gennaromon is one of the ancient city gates of Naples, located in the southwest of the edge of Piazza Cavour, next to the busy Via Foria, leading to a pedestrian street east of Via Tama, parallel to Via Tama

8. Castel dell’Ovo: The oldest castle in Naples, named after the medieval legend that the Roman poet Virgil placed a magical egg in the foundation of the castle. This castle was built in the 12th century, originally on a small island, but later became a peninsula due to changes in terrain, which can be reached on foot.

9. Castel Nuovo: Walking along the seaside, you will come to the new castle that replaced the Egg Castle. Although it is called “Castel Nuovo” (transliterated as “Anjou Castle”), it is also a historical building built in the 13th century. This castle was designed by a French architect, and its most prominent exterior feature is the “five seemingly indestructible circular towers,” giving it a medieval castle vibe.

10. Naples Archaeological Museum: The Naples Archaeological Museum is very large in scale and has a rich collection. The most eye-catching and attractive to travelers are the mosaic murals of Alexander the Great chasing Darius, as well as a large number of treasures excavated from the ancient city of Pompeii. Some of the exhibits may even overturn the stereotype of modern people being more conservative towards the ancients.

11. San Carlo Theatre: As the former opera capital of Europe, Naples has the oldest opera house still in operation in the world – the San Carlo Theatre. For Italy, this is still currently the largest and most important opera house, located across from the Galleria Umberto I and performing every summer. In addition, this building, which was built in 1737 at the request of the Bourbon dynasty’s Charles, has a long history and is worth a visit in itself, especially its extremely luxurious red gold decoration, 6-story private rooms, and flower beds extending more than 30 meters behind the orchestra seats, which still amaze people today.

12. Millennium Underground City (Napoli Sotterrane): The Naples Underground City was once a Greek quarry, a Roman water storage tank, and a World War II air raid shelter. The diverse uses of various eras have allowed this underground city to be well preserved to this day.

13. Umberto I Gallery: The Umberto I Gallery, built in 1887, is located on the north side of the palace and is as famous as the Emmanuel II Gallery in Milan. They arrived at the forgotten monastery. Here, they pieced together all the clues and discovered an astonishing secret: the treasure was not underground in Naples, but hidden beneath the altar of an ancient church. This church is the holy land in the hearts of the people of Naples, and its existence is even longer than the history of treasures.
