Hi team 17! This is our idea for the brief. It’s about thinking a solution for a tradition that we have in Italy for students who live far from home or abroad. Let us know if you have questions about it!
Hello Team8, thank you for uploading your brief. As a designers we have some questions and I would be really happy, If you answer them.
1) What are the problems when sending a package to children? (For Example; weight of the box, transportation, cost, quality of the box (tear up, spelling of the food)).
2) Do the parent or grandparents become tired in this process, making food or shipping?
3) Did you had any problems yourself in this process?
4) What are the shipping cost? Is it expensive because of the weight of the box?
Hi, I’m trying to answer to your questions!
1) The box will be sent to university students who live far from their families in Italy or abroad, so they are aged between 19-30 and without children.
2) No, they aren’t tired of the process, because they do it periodically to surprise their loved ones living far from them, and they can also buy the food to ship, like cheese, mozzarella, sausages, etc..
3) We didn’t have any problems
4) The shipping costs are fixed, there is a shipping company, leader in Italy, called Poste Italiane, that allows you to send a box in Italy with this prices: 0-5 kg 9€; 5-10 kg 11€; 10-20 kg 15€. To ship abroad it starts from 28€, to a maximum of 113 € (for a 30 kg box).
