Trio Nexus Project: Feedback and Suggestions
Hi everyone, I wanted to share a brief feedback on your project theme. I really liked the problem you decided to work on, because it focuses on a very real and common difficulty: the grandmother who struggles to see clearly, to recognize her medications, and to manage her daily intake. It’s a concrete and meaningful need, and I truly appreciated the sensitivity with which you approached it. I’m also very glad that you chose one of the three proposals we had prepared for you. Since I found your theme interesting and important, I worked carefully to help develop solutions that could fit your specific problem in the best way possible. For this reason, we tried to refine the organizer design, adding more detailed guidance on structure, materials, visibility, and safety, so that your chosen solution would be easier for you to develop. Overall, I’m really happy with the way you worked, and I’m pleased that the concept you selected was appreciated. I hope our indications will be useful for you as you complete your project. Client Brief
I. Basic Information Name: Ms. Wen (maternal grandmother of Yang Guangkun) Age: 70 years old Residential Status: Lives alone on the 6th floor of a walk-up building (no elevator) II. Daily Life Ms. Wen manages her daily life independently. She lives on the 6th floor of a walk-up building, so she has to climb stairs to go up and down, which may consume a certain amount of physical strength when she goes out or buys groceries due to the lack of an elevator. Every day, she needs to take a variety of medicines as required and has the habit of taking medicines separately before and after meals. Taking medicines is one of the key links she needs to focus on in her daily life. In addition, due to her age and changes in physical functions, she faces many inconveniences in medication management, such as difficulties in finding, identifying, and remembering medicines. These problems run through her daily life and affect her medication safety and life convenience. III. Habits Ms. Wen has a clear habit in terms of medication: she takes medicines separately before and after meals. She can consciously follow a certain medication schedule to ensure the standardization of medication and reduce potential physical discomfort or impact on the efficacy of medicines caused by improper medication time. IV. Problems Ms. Wen mainly faces three core problems related to medication management in her daily life, which are as follows: Difficulty in finding medicines: She needs to take many types of medicines at home, but there is no effective way to organize and store them. As a result, when she needs to take medicines, she cannot find the required ones quickly and accurately, which may delay the medication time. Difficulty in identifying medicines: The appearance and labels of some medicines may be relatively similar. In addition, her declining eyesight and cognitive ability due to aging make her unable to accurately identify some medicines, leading to the potential risk of taking the wrong medicine. Frequent forgetfulness of medication: Affected by age-related memory decline, she often forgets to take medicines on time, which may prevent the medicines from exerting their due therapeutic effects and is not conducive to the control of chronic diseases and disease management. In addition, based on the overall research on medication use among the elderly population, as a member of this group, Ms. Wen may also have common problems with the group. For example, chronic diseases are common, and she needs to take a variety of complicated medicines, which further increases the difficulty of medication management. At the same time, the comprehensive impact of aging physical functions also exacerbates the inconvenience in all aspects of medication. Ⅴ.Product Research Research Background: In order to solve the problems of Ms. Wen's difficulty in finding, identifying, and remembering medicines in medication management, online research on existing related products was conducted. Research Results: Through online searches, it was found that there are currently some products that can address a single issue in medication management.…
🌍 First International Team Call! 🎥
Today, my team and I organized a video call with our group of international friends. 👋 We introduced ourselves, even though the language barrier made it a bit challenging, and tried to communicate both through the call and the chat 💬, which turned out to be really convenient, especially for them. Besides getting to know each other, we also started talking about our projects. 📚 We shared that we’ve chosen our theme and submitted the Brief ✏️, while they already sent their PDF with their chosen theme. We’ve decided to stay in touch 🤝 and set a tentative day and time to meet regularly so we can work together smoothly. 🗓️ Screenshot
