My name is Salvatore Monaco, and I was born in Naples on February 12, 2002. I graduated from the Adolfo Pansini Classical High School. Later, I earned a degree in Communication Sciences, with a thesis on music streaming platforms. Since February of this year, I have been enrolled in a master’s program in Public and Corporate Communication.
I have many passions. I’m a big reader of both books and comics. I’m especially into music—rock in particular—and cinema. I often go to concerts or DJ sets, and I go to the movie theater to watch films by the directors I’m a fan of.
I love to travel. When I’m free, I try to spend the weekend out of town. I have no problem traveling alone; it’s very relaxing for me. I love animals. I have two dogs, and I have often volunteered at animal shelters.
I spend my days studying and listening to music, but I always make time for my friends, who are like family to me.
For years I wanted to be a journalist, and I also did a three-month internship at the newspaper Il Mattino. I’ve recently changed direction: I’d like to work in advertising or in fields that match my passions. I’ve already written a couple of short films for some director friends, and I’ve helped friends who make music both with the creative process and with organizing concerts.
