My name is Joel Picó Lapeña and I am from Alicante, Spain. I am studying for a double degree in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication at the UMH in Spain. I lived in my hometown, Alicante, my whole life until 2023, when I moved to Rome for a while to participate in the Erasmus programme and study at LUMSA. Now I am in Naples doing the same programme at the Suor Orsola Benincasa University. I am passionate about sports and have always liked to keep up with the latest news and stay informed about everything, so I would like to pursue sports journalism and travel around the world, two of my great passions.
So far, I have worked in the communications department at Hércules CF for two years and as a presenter on the Onda Cero radio station, hosting the Alicante sports programme and contributing to the news.
