3 Design Ideas – Team Mosaico & Sailor Moon

Hello team Sailor Moon! We are here to present you three ideas that we came up with during the week.

Your briefing was all about waiting times and how precious that time could be. The emotional and cultural aspects are important for the final service/product. The goal is not necessarily about making the wait time smaller, since that is generally out of our control, but about making time more pleasurable.
1. A zine with games like crossword puzzles and health information. For exemple, in one page, there would be a game and in another there would be a page about which medication and vaccines are available on the health center. There could even be pages to write down symptoms they remember on the spot.

2. A small device that shows how many people are in front of them and vibrates the moment it is their turn. That would give them freedom to do whatever they wanted with their time. It could be used in whatever sort of place that usually has long waiting times.

3. Interaction with the enviornment. Exemples: a jukebox-like way of choosing the song playing; a white board wall for drawing; sticky note to put on the waiting places with drawings and messages; among others.

We hope to hear from you soon 🙂

Regarding your design proposals, the second idea isn’t a good one because it only solves the problem of knowing when it’s your turn, but the difficulty of waiting remains.
The first idea could be valid, but something similar already exists, and older people are often not interested in reading. The third idea is very interesting, especially the whiteboard wall.
If that’s not a problem, we wanted to suggest combining the first idea with this third idea for a more complete solution.

let us know if there are any questions!
