Our feedback

Hi everyone, and thank you for sharing your work with us.We really appreciated the illustration you described, especially the one featuring the yellow circle – the idea of a positive aura works very well and immediately conveys a sense of openness and warmth. We would like to suggest a small improvement regarding the inclusion of the practical information for the event, specifically the location, date, and time. It would be helpful if these details were clearly readable for an older audience, while still remaining balanced in size so they don’t overwhelm the graphic layout. It might also be interesting to consider a location that naturally evokes a welcoming, community-oriented environment, such as a neighborhood library or a parish hall. Spaces like these immediately suggest a calm atmosphere and the idea of a support group where people can come together to discuss topics that are very present in the Neapolitan community. Clear and well-placed information can help communicate this message effectively.

Pizza Makers | Our Feedback

Hi everyone,after discussing your proposals with our professor, we realized that we are not completely satisfied with them yet - we feel that they are not strongly connected to cultural aspects, which is a key element of the project.However, the professor really appreciated your second idea. We think it could be a good starting point if we work together to improve it and make it more engaging and appealing for the elderly target.At the same time, the professor suggested that we kindly ask you for a few more proposals, so we can evaluate different options and understand which one has the most potential.Let us know what you think! Meeting: November 12th | Brief’s Discussion

On the last wednesday, we had our second meeting. This time, we centered our discussion in Q&A about both briefs. Because we, Chimia, wanted to have a better understanding of how the briefed problem works in Italy. Pizza Makers shared their ideas on our project, then we discussed that too. The next steps we need to take are: Share our ideas to Pizza Makers; Give a feedback of their ideas on our project. In November 2nd, we did a meeting to have our first live contact. We all talked about our first ideas for the briefings, and we chitchated a little about our personal lives and the differences between brazilian and italian cultures. Profile | Igor

Heyy! My name is Igor Gertz, but most of my friends call me Bigor. I'm a 21yo that is currently in the third semester of the Visual Design course at UFRGS. I was born and have always lived in Porto Alegre, the city where all the BR groups study. My favorite design field is UX and UI, but I am still not sure about whether I want to go for a masters degree after I graduate and follow a academic path or go straight into the job market. What I like Music: My favorite band is Titãs, but I also listen to a lot of MPB (brazilian popular music) and Brazilian rock. Food: I used to cook my meals and throughout this year I started cooking some deserts for my friends at UFRGS and it's been a fun experience; Converstion: I'm kind of the guy who talks with everyone and that knows a lot of people. My friends sometimes call me vereador (in BR portuguese it means city counsilman, but can also be used as an expression for someone that knows and talks with way too many people), but I really enjoy talking with people from different places and courses; Games: Currently, I'm playing only Rainbow Six Siege, but my favorite game is GRIS. I also enjoy Hollow Knight or any of these chaotic coop indie games like Lethal Company or Phasmophobia, and sometimes I play that damn game that starts with L. Where to find me? Profile | Marcus Vinícius

Hi everyone!My name is Marcus, I’m 20 years old and I currently live in Porto Alegre in a very modest apartment with my boyfriend. I’m an aspiring designer who will probably pursue a career in animation.I spend a good part of my time playing computer games like Overwatch, Fortnite, Dead by Daylight, Peak, REPO… I’m also a big fan of games like Hollow Knight, Life is Strange, Baldur’s Gate 3…I’m in my third semester of the design course at UFRGS and I must say that this is my favorite so far. We’re taking 3D modeling and CAD drawing classes and I love this area, so much so that i already have a degree in it. I really enjoy listening to music, I’m quite eclectic, but I really like pop, alt-rock, indie and rock genres. I really like a Brazilian rock singer called Pitty. If anyone is interested, listen to her song “Na sua estante”, “Me adora” and my favorite, “Equalize”! My best friend is Tatiana, another member of the Chimia team. Olá! My name is Tati! Im a 22 years old brazilian girl, I work as designer and illustrator! Im currently in the third semester at Visual Design UFRGS! Im from other state, other capital, I got a different culture than my beloved peers! I also want to do my masters abroad, my favorite destination is China, but, there is a language barrier that i need to get rid of .I work at a extension project at uni, I edit books for visual deficient children and also work with pictograms, a mecanism that makes a text acessible for everyone, even if u dont know how to read words in portuguese. Right now im illustrating a book that is a afrobrazilian version of golden locs! WHAT I LIKE Visual Arts: My favorite design field is by faaaaaaaaar illustration, im very fond of art study! Music: i like some brazilian artists, i recommend Urias her album "FURIA" is CRAZY! and Marina Sena with "COISAS NATURAIS" this one is perfect! believe when i say it -very easy to fall in love with brazilian music. Hello! Buongiorno! Oii! My name is Anastácia Bourscheid, a 20-years-old brazilian and I study Visual Design at UFRGS. I was born in Porto Alegre (aka POA), the city where we have our classes, but I was raised in Dois Irmãos, a small town 60 Km away from POA. I work at the UFRGS cinema, Sala Redenção, as a graphic designer. Sometimes I help choosing the movies that are going to be exibhited, but my main assignment is to produce all the graphic materials needed for the communication. My favorite design field is design theory and history. I am looking forwad to become a professor and researcher. What I like Cinema: I don't consider myself a cinephile, but I love to work and be envolved with art and culture. Not only I work at the university cinema, but I also have a filmclub in Dois Irmãos, and I worked in a movie this year (O Vale do Diabo, 2025) Music: I love listening to rock, jazz, MPB (brazilian popular music)... Food: I love cooking and eating nice foods. Conversation: My favorite thing to do is to talk with my friends and people. I think it is so nice to meet stories and new things about the people that I like and admire, as well as people who I don't know much about. Study: I love to learn.
