hi! we liked how the mechanics of the game have turned out, especially the longest pattern without braking part. we think it gives more conceptual meaning to the game. it would be interesting to see what other kinds of patterns you would come up with, perhaps using more brazilian aesthetics to use as inspiration – and even more specific, about Rio Grande do Sul’s culture (our state).
about the color palette: between the 4 combinations you presented us, our favorite is the one with the square shapes, under the other three. it has got more earthy colors and we think it brings the more cozy feeling this game is supposed to have. if the cards could also be more minimalistic, but still warm, would be ideal too.
about the “action” group, maybe think of prompts that involve team playing to bring the generations even more closer. for example “teach a dance move that used to be/is popular on your time”.

This card game proposal is conceptually strong thanks to its excellent and original core mechanic of “creating the longest pattern without breaking it,” which adds a strategic and replayable layer. The game structure is well-defined, with the four card groups dictated by the die ensuring dynamism, and the card layout is clean and functional, featuring a clear scoring metric based on the pattern elements. However, the crucial next step is the development of distinctive and clearly readable visual patterns for each color group, moving beyond the current visual generality. It is also essential that the final color palette is coherent with the desired warm and cozy atmosphere, without compromising the functional clarity required by the color/pattern matching mechanic. In summary, the mechanics are solid, but the design must now focus on the aesthetic variety and clarity of the patterns to fully support the game’s strategic innovation.
