Initial Design Concepts
Based on the needs of customers, my design concept mainly revolves around helping the elderly and young people interact and communicate better. Through the form of games, it can not only alleviate the loneliness of the elderly, but also exercise the problems of the elderly's slow response. Therefore, the designed products mainly highlight interactivity. Allowing seniors to have fun with young people in an easy way. 1.Resistance Training Loop Two people hold the anti-slip grips on both sides of the circulator, and adjust the resistance through the knob according to their own situation. Turn on the Bluetooth of your mobile phone, connect the device and start it.Two people can slowly stretch the circulator in opposite directions, the pressure sensor will record the rhythm of both parties' efforts, the APP voice prompt "keep in sync", and the light turns green for the best state. Rings can be utilized for stretching and simple strength training. The heart rate monitoring module will display the status of both parties in real time to avoid overwork. 2.Grip Ball Hold the grip ball tightly, the LED screen will display the grip strength values of both sides in real time, and the green light is always on to represent balanced force; If one side exerts too much force, the red light on the corresponding side flashes, and the strength can be adjusted in time. You can carry out endurance challenge, set a fixed grip strength value, and two people maintain this strength. The longer you persist, the higher the score, which is suitable for daily hand endurance exercise of the elderly.At the same time, protruding dots can be arranged on the surface of the small ball, and acupuncture points of the hand can be massaged by holding it. It is beneficial to the training of hand strength of the elderly. 3.Rhythm Clapping Game Two wear gloves and rhythm watches respectively. Connect to the mobile phone to play the favorite songs of the elderly, and the rhythm watch sensor prompts the timing of clapping through vibration. Two people clap their hands according to the prompt, and the lights on the gloves will change color with the synchronization rate of the action (for example: green is high synchronization rate, yellow is medium, and red is low synchronization rate). The elderly and young people can improve their tacit understanding through games, and they can also cultivate the reaction ability of the elderly. You can also set the two-player PK mode, one person takes the rhythm and the other imitates it. The one with higher similarity scores higher, and the one with higher scores wins.
