There are two reasons for this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The readers will have a better sense of what is your name and who you are when reading your posts and comments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your Username is one element how you and hackers can log onto your account and therefore it is a good practice NOT to have your Username displayed publicly.  Thus, if your Username is not displayed, a hacker would need to guess not just your password but also your Username.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to change your Display name<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To change your Display name please make sure you are login to your account.
