Hello everyone, this is our brief. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact with us. Good luck!

I like how you have visually displayed your brief.
But it would be useful to indicate by who has generated the brief (e.g. the Client Team 03) and for whom is your brief addressed, which I assume is the design team 20…
So, you as the Clients, please make posts and comments on your assigned Design team 20 project blog.
You can keep your Client brief here, but please post it onto your designers’ project blog https://theglobalstudio.eu/2022-20/wp-admin/post-new.php as a new post that way everything related to your role as clients will be over there. Use this project blog for the work you will do as Designers. Your clients need to post here there design brief.
How have you identified the problem?
You will need to select specific family members, such as your grandparents, parents or aunts or uncles, who will form the intended “users” for the proposed designs.
To develop the brief you will need to prepare material, such as storyboards or short movies, which will help your design team to become familiar with your selected users’ day to day local practices. You, as the cultural expert on your selected users’ practices will need to analyse these practices in order to guide the designers and to evaluate their progress.
Is the problem outlined above expressed by your grandparents? Or was it one of your team members who raised the issues?
I am looking forward to your reply, Erik
PS do let me know when you have posted it on your assigned designers project blog, please
Hi sir,
At first, sorry for our late reply, we saw your comment a bit lately that’s why it takes long to reply. However, we tried to add details you mentioned carefully and uploaded it our and also our corparate team blogs. We will also add short video soon to interpret the problem better.
The origin of problem is our daily experiences. We as every member of team are grown up in the same culture and we are almost everday facing with issues with our neighbours. So even we specicified the target group as elder people, that is the problem we also complain about.
Thanks for your interest and we hope you find our brief sufficient, also hope you enjoy in our blog.
Best Regards,

Hello. After receiving your brief, we find that it is a very interesting and challenging proposal, as it is a specific tradition in Turkey. Nevertheless, we have some doubts about the requirements.
First, we would like to know what the average number of shoes that should be stored is. We understand that it is for elderly people, but we would appreciate it if you could narrow down the range of age of the target audience.
Hey again,
As you understand we are waiting from you to design shoe storage to make life easier for older people. However, shoes are belong to people who are visiting them, which means the age range is quite diverse, from children to adults. Moreover, you can design the storage with considering to contain 10 to 20 pair of shoes. Good luck!
Secondly, concerning the product, we would like to know if you prefer it to be an exterior or an interior shoe rack.
Moreover, we would like to know how much space is available in order to determine the shape and dimensions of the product, and related to this, how houses in Turkey are distributed. Is there an entrance hall, or do you directly enter the living room?
Hello,
When shoe storage is inside the house, people tend to enter the house with shoes on, we want an exterior storage as we dont prefer to enter house with shoes on. Moreover, In Turkey, people live in apartments rather than detached houses. Apartments usually have 2 or 4 flats facing each other. For this reason, the front of the apartment doors has a small area in order not to complicate the passage in the apartment. So, the storage to be built must be positioned within an area of 1m².
Finally, we were wondering about the weather. Does it rain a lot? Is it humid? What kind of shoes do you usually use: sandals, boots…? We feel like this would be valuable for the material selection and space for each shoe.
Design team 20.
The weather in Turkey is a meeting point for several distinct climates and weather patterns. Most parts of Turkey, in winter, receive rain and snowfall, and in warmer weather, such as fall and spring, there is less rain, but the weather is still chilly. In summer, there are times that it rains, but it is very rare, and the weather is most of the time sweltering.
As a result, according to the daily temperature (yes, we check whether daily), we wear boots and sneakers in winter. We prefer to wear sneakers and thinner and lighter shoes in warmer transitional climates(spring and fall). Finally, in summer, we wear sandals, slippers, and sneakers.
