A look at psychology to understand the choices regarding the box.

Following the meeting with Team 2, our choice went to the installation, in Piazza Bellini, which is open to interaction with a proposal to leave its mark on the object in the form of an inscription, drawing, and so on. We also greatly appreciated the fact that it is possible to use eco-sustainable materials. Finally, team 2 also proposed to integrate areas open to “play” through the use of special musical instruments that have fun and socialization as their goal. We chose these proposals because they seemed in line with the request and above all with the context. Furthermore, the concept of interaction is very present and above all this installation does not need a digital support, favoring a face-to-face interaction. As for us, team 10, the choice of team 2 was the first idea, “Go on the Box”. The box is sent to your home and allows you to visit a place through the five senses. All this through products that immerse you in the country you want to “visit”. 

Team 2 asked us to include some more images in the brief and to include the history of piazza Bellini. We have in fact published on the blog a new updated brief with these requests and easier to understand.

Hi, I´m Ana (21y)

My name is Ana, I´m from Oviedo, a little city of the north of Spain in Asturias. I´m 21 years old, so that I´m in my fourth year of psychology career and I´m an Erasmus student in Napoli. Regarding my future as a psychologist, I would like to specialize in the field of sexuality and couples therapy.

Something curiuos about me is that my favourite subjects during school were math and philosophy. Speaking of my hobbies, I really like football, I have been a follower if my hometown tea,, Real Oviedo, since I was born. 

In this new experience, such as an Erasmus, I try to learn as much as possible about the city I´m living to its culture, its people… I would like to end this experience with the abbility to communicate fluently in Italian.

Hi I´m Celia (21 y)

My name is Celia and I´m from Sotrondio, a little village of Asturias, a province situated in the north of Spain.  I´m currently studying my fourth year of phycology degree in Napoli so yes, I´m an Erasmus student 🙂

 My favourite subject has always been philosophy but since I was a child, I have always known that I want to study psychology. Now, I have decided to specialize in clinical psychology. 

I consider myself an open-minded person, eager to learn and who likes to listen and contribute. And my main hobbies are listening to music and going out with my friends. I love traveling, tasting different types of food, animals, theatre and bathing in the sea. 

In this new experience I hope to improve my italian skills, learn as much as possible of the city where I am living and its culture, but above all I hope to grow as a person.

Hi, I’m Mara (24 years old)

I study Cognitive Ergonomics in Suor Orsola Benincasa in Naples.

The Global Studio is the best experience in my accademic career because with this project I can connect to many people and realities different from mine, offering me the opportunity to get to know different visions of the world.

I live in Venafro, a small village in the province of Isernia in Molise. My city has Roman origin so you can visit the Old Town dominated by Castle Pandone, Roman thermal baths, the Cathedral and many churches. In Venafro there is also a park called The Regional Park dell’Olivo, the first regional park of Molise, established to safeguard the heritage of olive cultivation of this territory.

In my spare time I like to walk in nature with my boyfriend and watch the animals, flowers and plants. I love the animals in fact I have two dogs, Oliver and Ugo, five cats, a bird and an aquarium.

For the future I hope that thanks to this university course I will be able to increase my knowledge that will allow me to find work in this area.

Hi, I’m Giada (23y).

I have a degree in cognitive psychology and I attend the Human Factors’ master. The most fascinating thing about my studies is the knowledge of human factors and how they are centered in the design of many tecnologies.

I was born and live in Naples, a city full of culture and tradition.

In my opinion when you arrive in Naples there is never something in particular to visit, but rather people to know. Neapolitan culture always finds a way to surprise you.

My hobbies include books, music and hip hop dance, specifically popping, a type of dance that is based on muscle contraction in time with the beat.

About my future, i have no real plans, but i know i want to help people make their life easier.

Hello there, I’m Enrico Galati (25 years old) , I’m a student from Suor’Orsola Benincasa University.

I’m currently studying Cognitive ergonomics and I’m living in Naples. In my city there are many interesting point of interest to visit, such Castel dell’Ovo, Maschio Angioino, Piazza del Plebiscito and many others.

My future plains are to graduate from University and join some videogame company, some company like Activision or Ubisoft would be the best.

My hobbies are almost al pc related, from the interest in hardware components to videogames, especially fps. I also love role play like D&D and practiced martial arts for over 10 years.
