Shaking hands across half the world

Having met as part of the assignment, we were able to find topics for discussion. At our meetings, which take place several times a week, we not only work on a project, but also learn something new about each other, share thoughts, experiences, views on life and discuss much more.

Technical task

After a successful discussion of the brief and the introduction of various ideas, we formed the terms of reference for our colleagues. At first it may seem difficult, but we do not doubt the level of competence of our colleagues and are confident that we will soon be ready to show the result of our work.

In more detail, you can familiarize yourself with the terms of reference here:

brief presentation

Our team developed and demonstrated the brief to our colleagues and after making several amendments and clarifications, we agreed on this idea. Today we are ready to show the brief to all of you.

Some thoughts about Design brief

Hello everybody

I hope that in your design brief you will reflect information about your parents: how they spend their time, read, listen to music, go to nature or to the country. If they like to go to their house outside the city, then in order to work in the garden, or pick mushrooms and berries, or to steam in the sauna? Perhaps in your country and in your city there are traditional ways of spending time for close friends. So, last year, girls from Turkey talked about an interesting tradition among older women.

Altin günü is a gathering amongst people usually elder woman to see each other and share the latest news aka gossip. Close friends eat together, talk, dance. They host this activity one by one at each members’ house. They use rotational order. Noone can by host more than once in a cycle. There reason behind this is hidden inside the word ‘altin’ which means gold. As a tradition, brings a piece of gold to the host. Thus at the end of the cycle everybody gives  and receives the same amount of gold.
